This project investigated the development of support mechanisms for volunteers, and their organisations, undertaking the ASDAN Certificate in Community Volunteering (CCV), Level 2.  Training specifically for volunteers and that is not delivered in-house is a relatively new initiative.  As such, organisations that have been involved with the above training programme within Norfolk have mostly been unfamiliar with the training sector.  This has included terminology in current usage, the assessment process and, in particular, the collection of evidence based assessment as required by this course, as well as the kind and level of support required to successfully support students to participate in workshops and complete all required assessment.
