Abstract:

The Higher Education Learning Partnership Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (HELP CETL) is part of a network of 74 CETLs nationwide.

This publication (one of an information series) provides an overview of the research and evaluation and scope of the HELP CETL.  The HELP CETL itself builds on several years of partnership between the University of Plymouth and 17 colleges, together with employers and stakeholders which came together in 2003 to form the University of Plymouth Colleges Faculty (UPC).

The aims of the HELP CETL are to enhance the experience of students within the UPC and the wider HE in FE community by building on expertise and good practice, within five key areas of research, development and scholarly activity.

In conjunction with the research and evaluation the HELP CETL also has a dissemination strategy to promote its work not only across the UPC but also nationally.
