A review of the college-wide Disability Equality Scheme and subsequent development Action Plan at City College Norwich (CCN) wanted to explore staff perceptions of disability. The research also examined how CCN’s disclosure rate compared to other colleges. The study found that, of the colleges who submitted their disclosure data, CCN recorded the highest rate for disability disclosure. The research also presented ways to improve staff disclosure rates, such as reviewing the wording of application forms and more clearly communicating the purpose of medical forms and checks.
