An HEA project team meeting held on the 16th Sept. 09 identified that 3 workshops will take place in the north, midlands and south of England. These will take place between the 30/11-4/12/09 in the North, last two weeks of March for the Midlands and the middle two weeks of June for the South. FECs are now being approached to host the one day workshops and the exact dates will depend upon college availability.

The workshops will have a dual focus of practitioner and manager, hence there will be practitioner themed strand running parallel to a management themed strand, plus 'core' sessions bringing the two groups together. The overall aim is to advance current knowledge and practices in both groups with the idea of looking forward and planning strategically for FDAP, IQER, IfL and other policies at an institutional and individual level.
