The model protocol has been developed from the '2008 guidance on effective working of local social partnerships' to promote clarity, openness and a positive working culture internally and with schools. It covers the key themes of focus/participation, ways of work, communication and dissemination and processes.

WAMG: 2008 guidance on effective working of local social partnerships

WAMG has updated its guidance for local social partnerships on effective working, and introduces a focus on fair play and rewards for support staff, a broader minimum remit and additional topics for discussion on operational effectiveness.

WAMG note 20: effective operation of local social partnerships

WAMG note 20 outlines a number of initiatives undertaken by WAMG in response to feedback of members, as follows; further guidance on effective working, a model remit and protocol, and framework process for issue resolution. These documents are distributed alongside the note.
